Counter-Strike: Global Offensive mantuvo una fuerte presencia en los Esports Industry Awards, esto por la cantidad de jugadores, mismos que fueron nominados en diferentes categorías, pero también por obtener el premio al mejor juego del año en eSports.

Llevado a cabo en The Brewery, Londres, Inglaterra, se reconocieron a las grandes personalidades, organizaciones y las marcas que han estado en la escena competitiva del 2017, y al tener más de 20 categorías, de los cuales y de manos de expertos fueron seleccionados ganadores en cada una, además los fans realizaron aproximadamente 500.000 votos.
